Tote Bag #3

$150.00

For a few years we ran a gallery, The Parlor at Plainspoke, at our studio building in downtown Portsmouth. To promote the various exhibitions, we would hang a large vinyl outdoor banner on our building. These hardy pieces of promotion survived the elements with only a few dings and scratches. They were in such good shape that we didn’t want to dispose of them but rather reuse, recycle, repurpose in some way. We commissioned local bag maker Jon Bailey, formerly of BailyWorks, to create tote bags from the banners. One vinyl banner yields three bags, so each of these totes are truly one of a kind. If you are familiar with Jon’s work then you know they are durable, well crafted and made to last. All are lined, have attached handles as well as a removable, heavy-duty 1.5 inch wide strap that extends to 46 inches long.

This bag also came from the poster created for our second exhibition, Revealed: Michael Winters.

Dimension: 8 inches depth; 14 inches wide; 15 inches high
